Steps To Getting Help

Simple but yet powerful steps to regaining your mental health.

01. Booking the Appointment and Preparation

To determine if you need a psychiatrist or a psychologist/therapist. Often, starting with a Primary Care Physician (PCP) is best to get a referral.

02. Attending the scheduled Appointment (Intake & Evaluation)

The first visit is typically a “biopsychosocial intake” to review your history, current symptoms, and lifestyle

03. Developing and Implementing the Treatment Plan

We will determine based on diagnosis and outline options, which may include therapy (CBT, DBT), medication, or both.

04. Taking Medication and Monitoring

Patients is monitored and advised not to skip medication or stop taking it just because you feel better. Mental health conditions often require long-term management.
